A Very Concerned Mom Heard A Rap Song Accidentally And Cried Over How It'll Ruin Her Children's Lives While Reading The Lyrics In A Video

Raw Story – In a video posted to YouTube, a mother of four who says her car radio is normally tuned to a Christian station, has a tearful breakdown after relating how she and her four children heard a hip hop song on a Top 40 radio station.
The culprit song? ‘Norf Norf” recorded by Vince Staples and released over a year ago.
As the woman relates the story, she allowed her 11-year-old daughter to switch to radio station 104.5 only to have ‘Norf Norf’ come on.
“This is on our local radio station, this crap is being played,” she said. “I couldn’t even believe the words that I was listening to. As a mom, it infuriated me. Obviously the cuss words were bleeped out, but I’m not stupid.”
“I remember listening to the top hits as a kid,” she says. “You know Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, and N’SYNC. Those were the top hits when I was a kid. Nowadays it’s not the same, not the same at all.”
Okay first of all: Her flow was actually pretty tight at points besides the intermittent sobbing, that Vine with the “hoes need abortions” part might be my favorite thing ever. But you know what? Maybe she’s right. She’s a Southern mom of four kids, seemingly in her mid 20s. And she says she grew up with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, two chicks who rose to prominence when they generally decided ramming their pussy lips into a camera lens to autotune was more profitable than the “I’m so innocent and will sing songs about my innocence” angle. And look what happened to her? Just a log flume of Waffle House-initiated cum and babies flying right out of the chute. She may very well have been directly influenced by the music she heard to sling it around so it totally makes sense she’d fear the same for her kids.
But obviously hip hop has been around forever and by the standards of probably 75% of hip hop over the last 25 years, it’s pretty standard. I just don’t get how you could have grown up in this country for 25+ years and apparently never heard hip hop? I mean she went to college or high school when the Lil Jon “ahhhh skeet skeet mofuckaaaaa’ song was in probably every party and bar and bar mitzvah (erm scratch the last one for this chick) and was at least 2x as obvious as anything in Norf Norf.
Thankfully Sobol pointed out this morning on Twitter someone put her rant/rap on a beat and it’s TREMENDOUS. She will not be happy about contributing to the downfall of our youth tho:
