Bryce Harper Charges The Mound, Smashes Hunter Strickland In The Face
One of the most bizarre things about baseball is that these fucking guys never forget anything. Bryce Harper hit a BOMB off of Hunter Strickland back in October of 2014, and we’re now just seeing that boil over here in almost June of 2017. Wild.
This is also why baseball gets mocked for fighting, too. If you’re gonna throw the helmet at the pitcher, you can’t misfire THAT bad. Looked like he was trying to throw it at the second baseman. If I did that, I’d probably start laughing and be like, “Yeah, we can’t fight after I just did that, but just know that I would’ve fucked you up if I actually followed through with coming out here to beat your ass.”
Then on top of that, you’ve got Michael Morse and Jeff Samardzija, who are teammates, just absolutely bulldozing each other in the middle of the fight.
And now we also know that Buster Posey is the absolute LAST guy that you’d want by your side if you get into a bar fight. Jesus. Thanks for nothing, bro.
Props to Strickland for eating this punch to the face and then needing four dudes to hold him back afterwards, though.
