Feel like the Monmouth Bench Mob peaked too early? Pulling out all the stops at the beginning of the season, blowing up as big as you can get on the internet going viral everywhere. Going on TV shows and getting interviewed and shit. Gave everybody Monmouth Bench Mob fatigue to the point where the season winds down, it’s finally March Madness time, and everyone’s just kind of “eh” about your best work. Probably should have paced yourselves a little better, maybe made sure you won the MAAC and got a spot in the tournament before bringing out the bench mob big guns. Like Icarus, they flew too close to the sun, and lost to Army, Canisius and Manhattan.
