After Revealing That I've Never Seen Jurassic Park, What Classic Movie Did You Miss And Never Get Around To Watching?

So I mentioned this on today’s PMT, I’m a 33 year old man that has never seen Jurassic Park. Now this isn’t because of some weird stand or contrarian opinion of mine, in fact I bet I would love Jurassic Park if I watched it. I haven’t seen it simply because I somehow missed it back in 1993 and never got around to watching it. Yeah it’s on TV all the time but I’m not going to watch a movie for the first time with commercials. And I could easily just DVR it on HBO or Showtime but I somehow haven’t. I don’t know, I can’t really explain it other than I missed it and never got around to fixing that fact. But after revealing this today I realized that I don’t think I’m alone. Maybe not specifically on Jurassic Park (most people have seen JP) but on the fact that everyone has a movie or a show they just sort of missed. They know it’s out there, they know it’s good, they just haven’t watched it. I had people telling me this morning they hadn’t seen classics like Braveheart, Hoosiers, Forrest Gump, and Titanic. Movies that 99% of America has seen. But instead of shaming you for that I’m here to tell you it’s ok. I’ve seen a ton of movies but I haven’t seen Jurassic Park. It just didn’t work out for me for one reason or another. Like the girl that got away, the timing was just off. So don’t be embarrassed to admit you haven’t seen something popular, end the stigma, just put your hand up and say my bad, I’ll watch it at some point in the future, maybe.
