If Gronk Is Going To Come Out Of Retirement, It's Going To Be To Play Lacrosse
Let’s just run through the checklist here real quick…
- From the Buffalo area which is a lacrosse hot bed.
- Big time dude.
- Played for Bill Belichick.
- Was teammates with Chris Hogan.
- Brings a lax stick with him to the beach.
- .
Everything about Rob Gronkowski screams that this man is a total lax rat who has just never had the opportunity to follow through with his one true passion in life. It’s a shame that Gronk was so goddamn dominant at football because maybe if that weren’t the case, he’d have an opportunity to pursue a career in lacrosse sooner. Now that he’s retired, he can finally focus all of his attention of the sport of the future.
Just imagine having Gronk dodging from up top. He’d run straight through his defender, run straight through the slide, at that point the 2 would be so goddamn terrified that he’d just be slow to go, and then Gronk would have a wide open lane to the rack. You give the man the ball, let him put his shoulder down and then just go to work. Instead of constantly getting hit and putting his body through war, he can do the destruction.
One of the biggest questions heading into this NFL season is going to be whether or not Gronk will come out of retirement. Everybody knows the answer to that is already yes. But when he decides to get back on the field, it’s going to be with a lacrosse stick in his hands.
