Wake Up With Bo Jackson Showing Off His Cannon By Throwing Out Harold Reynolds At Home Plate

What couldn’t Bo do? Arguably one of the best pure athletes in Sports, he was a freak. If he was playing in today’s age, he would legit blow peoples mind every time he did something on whichever field he was on that day. The “30 For 30″ on him was really, really good, and I recommend you check it out if you haven’t seen it.

This play is one of the things that made him awesome. An absolute cannon for an arm, it also helps that he is built like a god damn bodybuilder, and was fast AF.

Speaking of fast AF, Harold Reynolds was on first base here and was going on the pitch. Guy is already lightning quick, he didn’t really need a head start. The ball is laced down into the left field corner and bounces up against the wall. By the time the ball bounces off the wall and retrieved by Jackson, Reynolds is nearly rounding third. You’d think he would be safe by a decent margin. That is where you are wrong, folks.

The announcer yells out “It’s gonna be up to Bo Jackson to try and stop Reynolds from scoring and he can’t do it.” as Reynolds slides into home. What you don’t see is Jackson throwing a missile to home plate, he overthrows the cutoff man and drops it right in the breadbasket for the catcher. “YES HE CAN!” the announcer yells because somehow, Jackson was able to throw out Harold Reynolds on a ball that probably scores Reynolds 90 times out of 100. Major props to the catcher too for the grab and for putting the tag on him, just an all around unbelievable play by Bo Jackson and the catcher. If that throw is an inch either way, Reynolds is probably safe on the play, Bo Jackson was THAT dude. I could watch this throw all day. Probably a good 310 feet in the air with 0 bounce.

Without his hip injury, he would have been one of the best in sports, he’ll always be the “what if” guy, and its just scary how good he could have been. The flashes we saw from Bo were unreal.
