Imagine this guy went to the game with his wife and she went to the bathroom during this moment. She comes back and notices her husband is no longer wearing his red Joey Votto t-shirt, but instead a Joey Votto jersey. Explaining that Votto came over and demanded your shirt in exchange for his jersey is hilarious. If there is one guy in Major League Baseball who would do this it’s Joey Votto. He has such a fun time with fans it’s great. Dude is the king of Cincy, is great at baseball, makes a ton of money, and has a great time living life.

One might say they wish Votto did this in a bigger market, but I think he’s perfect for Cincinnati. People forget he still has never popped up to the catcher, pitcher, or first baseman in his career. Assuming he doesn’t wear down you’d think he’s a hall of famer when you look through his career numbers. If that’s the case this guy’s HOF speech will be fantastic.
