Quite the deadly threesome here in Seattle, A-Rod, Ken Griffey Jr, and Edgar Martinez pulverizing the Athletics going back-to-back-to-back. Should be three no doubt Hall Of Famers, but A-Rod still has a ways to go until Cooperstown, but lets be real, these are three of the best hitters and players in baseball history. And the fact that they were batting next to each other in the same lineup is stupid. Just stupid.
A-Rod starts it off with a bomb of his own to left field to kick it off, Griffey steps up and laces one to dead center right over the 405 marker, and Edgar goes oppo-taco to right field to complete the back2back2back. Three dongs for the price one one. Crazy how good these guys were and also crazy a team with this talent plus others never made it to a World Series. You'd be hard pressed to find a more talented 2-3-4 hitters in a lineup. Sheesh thats scary.
