Wake Up With The Intro To MVP Baseball 2005
Going off of yesterday's wake up with Backyard Baseball, we're throwing it back again to the intro video for MVP Baseball 2005. This was such a good franchise, with the game peaking in 2005. Manny Ramirez donned the cover and it had arguably the best soundtrack for any sports game. EA Sports used to make some damn good games, too bad that's not the case anymore. I probably watched this intro video over 1,000 times back in the day before the game booted up, and man did I think these graphics were the best. Used to think it was so lifelike. The Show has taken over baseball video games now, but MVP Baseball used to be king. You could read which pitch it was by whatever color the ball was when it was being released, you could do the mini games where you hit the balls off ramps into targets.
It was the perfect baseball video game for the new age systems, impossible to find one complaint about this game.
PS. Jon Dowd the GOAT.
