WATCH: A&E Releases Trailer For Ten-Part Docuseries Exposing Hugh Hefner For The Scumbag He Really Was

Source - A&E has released a trailer for their upcoming docuseries “Secrets of Playboy." The 10-part documentary event will examine "the hidden truths behind the fable and philosophy of the Playboy empire through a modern-day lens" and will dive into the "dark reality" of the "complex" empire Hugh Hefner built. The series will also feature interviews and appearances from the Playboy world, including Hefner's ex-girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Sondra Theodore. "Secrets of Playboy" is set to premiere in early 2022 on A&E.

Hugh Hefner? A scumbag? You're kidding me. I thought the man who kept a literal stable of woman on his property for over sixty years was a good guy. I guess you learn something new every day. But in all seriousness, didn't everyone already know Hugh was gross? He was monumental in the Women's Rights and sexual liberation movement of the sixties and seventies and blah, blah, blah but come on...he was Hugh Hefner. Obviously he was involved in some sketchy and dare I say illegal activity. Would I like to learn about that activity? Holly Madison, one of Hef's "main" girlfriends, recently went on a media tour exposing the ugly truth behind both Hugh and Playboy Magazine. The point I'm trying to make is that Hugh Hefner was around for a very long time and came in contact with a lot of people. He was a party animal, he worked in the sex industry, and he was famous.
