Look, I want to believe everything Coach Judge said in that press conference. I want to be ready to run through a brick wall then do laps around my house until the neighbors call the police on me or an ambulance for me. I also know my dumb Giants fan brain will blame everything from this nightmare season on a comical amount of injuries and an offensive coordinator that was either incompetent at his job or a Cowboys double agent.
But at this point, I'm just tired of this shit. I'm tired of the Giants losing, either close games when they are healthy or absolute blowouts with stats like this when they are playing their absolute dogshit backup QBs behind the dogshit that the dog ate then shit back out dogshit offensive line.

At some point, when your coach keeps telling you how well everything is going behind the scenes immediately after they got their faces smashed in on TV for three hours, he starts looking like Bob Odenkirk's character on I Think You Should Leave, going on a Football Guy #RuthkandaForever rant that sounds more like he's trying to convince John Mara that everything is fine before Black Monday in 8 days.

The big quote in all this was Judge saying there were Giants who left as free agents begging him to come back like people who missed the boarding of The Titanic asking if they could get on as the band played to their death. I was about to try to figure out what kind of sick fuck would actually say this, but luckily Bill Barnwell did all the grunt work for me.

The Vikings have lost some of the most gut wrenching games I've ever seen this year and something tells me Justin Jefferson isn't the only person who goes crazy when Bad Kirk Cousins comes out. But as someone that has had to watch every play of this abomination of a team, trust me Dalvin. Enjoy Minnesota and having a season where playoff hopes are still alive come November let alone December, even if you simply cannot trust a QB that grills like this.

Anyway, I've broken off into my own little rant so I'll just end with this. I have less than zero faith in the Giants being fixed anytime soon, regardless of if Coach Judge is here or not, because the problems here have existed long before he got hired. It starts with the Maras, who have somehow allowed Dave Gettleman to keep his job during this absolutely dreadful run, and everybody in the front office. In fact, former members of the front office seems to be the biggest clown show for the Giants whenever the offense isn't on the field.
Once we get all that cleaned up, I'll worry about the "little things" like the head coach, quarterback, and offensive coordinator that isn't an absolute bozo. But based on everything we've seen under this ownership group, there will be a promise to fix things, a few half measures, and the same shit year after year until the sun grows big enough to burn up the Earth, which frankly cannot happen soon enough.
