Halfthor Bjornson Fought Eddie Hall In The Heaviest Boxing Match of All Time

Here's is the full fight from over the weekend in Dubai, highlights below,

The long-awaited heaviest fight in history ended up taking place after rescheduling due to Eddie Hall's bicep injury.

Some of the best highlights are in this video below. This was billed as the heaviest boxing match in history as both men were easily over 300 lbs. Eddie Hall's unorthodox style of lining up pure haymakers was doing pretty well from a damage standpoint as opposed to a point scoring standpoint. Hathor's reach and jab let him score easy points to win all but the second round. Eddie Hall came out so strong but gassed out really quickly, Thor got knocked down, and looked to be in trouble a couple of times before he ultimately wore Eddie out and got some insane knockdowns. The 8-inch height difference was the real game-changer.

I know Tyson Fury would easily outbox Halfthor, but I don’t know how anyone could possibly get around Halfthor's huge jab. I know it's stupid to put Tyson Fury and Halfthor in the same boxing sentence, Tyson is a two-time heavyweight champion of the world, but I just would love to see how someone would have to outbox Halfthor's reach, size, and power. Halfthor has so much weight on Fury, down at 341 lbs from his powerlifting 450lbs compared to Tyson Fury's 278lbs. Both of them are 6'9". Of course, Tyson would win but… 341 lbs of pure muscle, and if Halfthor continues training… I mean it would be better watching than a Paul fight.

Back to Eddie Hall, the strongmen's feud has been longstanding over the years.

Their feud is the greatest storyline of strongman competition and their beef is well recorded.

Both former World’s Strongest Men winners, Bjornsson contested Hall’s victory in 2017 by claiming the Brit ‘cheated’ during the Viking press event.

It sparked years of animosity between the pair before things finally spilled over in 2020, when Bjornsson beat Hall’s world record deadlift by one single kilo.

"He then went and did some bs home gym hero lift trying to beat my world record deadlift.

“If he beat me then the fact it was only 1kg heavier is irrelevant, but I just can’t get my head around how he can think his attempt can be legitimate.

“Who checked the plates? His dad weighed the plates! Everything about it just stinks to me.

“Put it this way, if I pulled 500 kilos four years ago in my home gym and my own dad weighed the plates, every single person would smell bt.”

However, Bjornsson is adamant that history will show he was the better strongman.

After the match, you can see Eddie Hall wants to definitely go again.

Bad boxing but overall a great spectacle of man meat.
