If You Act Like A Shmuck At Citizens Bank Park As An Opposing Fan, You Better Hope You Have A Cellphone Upgrade Coming Up Soon

There may not be a more unlikeable brand of human on the planet than Mets fans (besides Clem). They spend all this time trying to make fun of how big of douchebags Yankees fans are without ever once realizing that they're the same person whenever things are going well for the Mets (besides Clem). All the arrogance in the world but somehow even worse due to all the years they've had to spend as the 2nd rate show in town (besides Clem). They're the Donnie Wahlberg of baseball. No offense Donnie Wahlberg, all offense to this bozo in the Pete Alonso jersey who forgot that he was outside in public for once instead of watching the game in his Mets pajamas in his baseball glove shaped bed with Mets covers.

Turns out that when you act like a jabroni and scream in people's actual faces instead of just tweeting extra loudly on the internet, that phone of yours is going to get launched into deep left field. Hope you had everything backed up in the cloud.

Now there are obviously a ton of highlights in that clip that are pointed out in the caption. The phone toss. The Philly Sports Guy (face paint man) sighting, who always seems to pop up in moments like these. The perfectly executed "dickhead" at the end. But the one part of this clip I really want to draw attention to is the stunod in the Chelsea boots who took it upon himself to try to wrap up the phone tosser.

What's even going on here? In what world is that his capture to make? Seems like he had nothing to do with anything that was going on there but still went up to try to make a citizen's arrest. Unless you want to break out that old iPhone 5s as you wait to get a new phone after your's gets launched onto the field as well, I suggest you get lost.

At the end of the day, this all comes out as a wash. Mets get the win, Philly fans get the win, they both cancel each other out. It's April baseball so who really cares anyway.
