Bills Safety Jordan Poyer Wasn't Medically Cleared To Fly, So He Drove 15 Hours To Kansas City To Play Today's Game Vs. Chiefs

Jordan Poyer is an All-Pro Safety and one of the team captains for the Buffalo Bills. He's a heck of a player but he's missed two of the last three games due to injury. His injury was so bad in fact that he wasn't cleared to fly, hence was unlikely to play today. But what you cannot measure is a guy's desire and willingness to compete. Poyer took that news from the team doctors and basically said, 'ok, i'll meet you guys there then.'.

In a dream world, I'm thinking about him driving to the game with his partner in crime/wife, Rachel Bush.

But it actually turns out he just got a car service.

And while this is slightly less inspiring, it's still an AWESOME move to just go to Kansas City on your own. Poyer showed up to the stadium this morning ready to go and led the Bills DBs out onto the field.

Poyer finished the game with 4 tackles and now faces a 14.5 hour ride home.

But it'll be a sweet ride as they Bills rode off with the W. And when he gets home, Rachel will be waiting for him.
