Congrats Are In Order For Livvy Dunne Being Named a 'Rookie' For SI Swimsuit's 60th Anniversary Edition

Sports Illustrated is currently under heavy fire from all angles in response to the revelation that they used AI to write articles under fake authors.
So what's the next call in the playbook? Shut everything down? Apologize? Hire more humans? Nah, how about announce Livvy Dunne as a 'rookie' in next year's 60th anniversary SI Swimsuit edition? Bingo.
Genius. Now obviously they didn't scramble yesterday in light of the bad news, get ahold of Dunne, fly her to an exotic location, and shoot all these pictures. If that was the case it'd be hilarious, but no, Dunne was clearly picked a while ago to have this honor, following in the steps of rocketships like Olivia Culpo, Kate Upton, Emily Ratajkowski, Kelly Rohrbach, and Alexis Ren. Is it possible they bumped the announcement for today? Most definitively.
SI dropped a little preview for the folks at home.
Now if you ask me, I don't get how you can be a rookie in year 2 of doing this, considering Dunne made her debut in the 2023 edition. Not enough service time accumulated? I won't pretend to know how it works, but clearly congrats are in order. Maybe SI's sports department doesn't know what's going on, but the swimsuit people? They get it.

I'd like to confidently place Dunne's odds for rookie of the year at -2500
