Martin Short And Meryl Streep Fuel DATING RUMORS After A Cozy Night Out

Yes, I know it says they've denied the dating rumors, but come on. THESE TWO? At the very least, they're hooking up. 

I'm actually dying because these two mega stars are in their 70s, and prove to us that the gossip machine excludes NO ONE. It does raise a funny question, though...ARE these two hooking up?? It turns out that Meryl and her husband Don Gummer have been separated for the better part of 6 years, despite not actually being officially divorced. At that age, what does it matter really if it's official I guess? Martin Short's wife sadly passed away in 2010, so we do in fact have a couple of single people out on the town together here, looking very cozy comfy with each other.

These two just recently worked together on the latest season of Only Murders In The Building, and I'm not exactly sure when we all started to notice they were smitten with each other, but I think it happened at the Golden Globes:

Listen, I get it. I have a lot of "close friends" too, Meryl. No need to put all your eggs (post menopausal, so fucking jealous) in one basket. People say that women especially have a new zest for life and sex once they get older, and to that I say GET IT GIRL! Martin is adorable, kind, funny, cool...the perfect "close friend" to have at a time like this. And Martin? He's hit the jackpot. This is MERYL STREEP we're talking about.
