Dave Portnoy (Michigan* Class of ’99) And LeBron James Teamed Up To Rat Out Connor Stalions For Cheating
So despite the surmounting evidence that Connor Stalions and Michigan* cheated their way to a National Championship* being so clear and obvious that even Hellen Keller could see they're guilty, people still want to argue that no rules were broken. These Walmart Wolverines have answers for everything, citing that Stalions was a lone wolf who was buying tickets to 35+ Big Ten football games across the country, sending his friends and family with video cameras to record the sideline….for fun? And while they did end up sending him those recordings, he never used them. He was simply being a polite nephew thanking his Great Aunt for the gift he didn't want or need. Michigan fans will argue until they're blue in the face that Stalions simply used the game footage, just like every other analyst in the country. No rules were broken!
But there's one piece of evidence from this story that cannot be disputed if it's proven to be true. And the bad news for them is that it was caught in 4K. Again, it's the smoking gun of the entire story, but only if anyone can prove it to be true….

If that there is Connor Stalions on the sidelines of the Central Michigan vs Michigan State game, wearing sunglasses with a little blue light in them that record, then I don't care about any other piece of evidence that overwhelmingly suggests this whole operation was a fraud. That's the only documentation. Enough to show it went deep enough and affected scores enough to vacate not just 3 years of wins but the National Title as well. Connor Stalions was a coach, in disguise, wearing another team's polo to scout and/or help against a conference opponent. If this were proven to be true, then the hammer should and would be brought down upon Michigan*
The only problem is that both Stalions and his lawyer know that. So they started running their own Pick n Roll, starting with his lawyer playing dumb saying if that's Connor, he'd have to be in quite the disguise.

And then Stalions, in the puff piece that he directed with Netflix, said he doesn't even look like the coach in question.

Now every single person with a brain knows that if that wasn't Connor Stalions, Central Michigan would be the very first to have come out and said it….a year ago. They're implicated as well. So if they could clear their name, they would've. But they didn't…..and then Stalions went in front of the highest court of the land and told the NCAA that he "didn't recall" being at that game.

Wow, really committed to the bit these two are. And it sucks because now if ANYONE close to the situation were to rat on them for lying, not only would Michigan's title be tainted but Connor Stalions coaching career would likely be over as well. You can't bold face lie to the NCAA and expect them to take it easy on you. Stealing signs and running an espionage operation is one thing, but getting caught and flat out falsifying your testimony is another. So if this did happen to be Connor Stalions on the sidelines of Central Michigan, they better keep that secret under lock and key.
Enter Dave Portnoy:

And just like that, Connor Stalions and Michigan were caught red-handed and ratted out to the world by Dave Portnoy, University of Michigan Class of 1998.
Listen, people are roasting Dave today calling him a snitch. And while I can't say he's not, I can proudly say that my boss is at least a true Michigan Man. Or at least what one is supposed to be. Jim Harbaugh once said, "Never lie. Never steal. Never cheat". And despite being suspended 3x in a calendar year for lying, stealing, and cheating……he is right, that's what Michigan Men are not supposed to do. So kudos to my boss Dave Portnoy for not lying about Connor Stalions being on the sideline against Michigan State. I know Stalions and his lawyer are trying to keep it from the NCAA, but Dave Portnoy did everyone a solid favor and ratted those liars out. And I want to personally thank him for working so well with Executive Producer, LeBron James, on this documentary to really shed the true light on Connor Stalions.
