This Gavin McKenna Goal Is The Nastiest Dang Thing You'll See Go Down On A Sheet Of Ice This Year
Think about all of the legendary moments that have gone down in the sport of hockey over the years. Some of the best players to ever lace up a pair of skates having a signature moment that leaves everybody's jaw stapled to the floor. It gets to the point where you're almost nervous that you'll never be able to be amazed again by anything you see out on a sheet of ice.
Then every once in a while, a player like Gavin McKenna comes around to show you a thing or two that you've never seen before. The drop pass to himself, puts his defender in the blender real quick, and puts the finishing touches on this one with a glove side snipe. What's crazy about this move is that he didn't even shatter his defender's ankles or anything. That defender actually did a great job of sticking with him through the move. But the move was so damn nasty that he was able to get a couple feet of separation even with someone playing the best defense they possibly could against it.
Just a reminder that your favorite NHL team should suck as much as humanly possible next season to have a chance to draft this kid 1st overall in 2026. He'd be the first overall pick in this upcoming summer's draft if it weren't for the fact that, ya know, he doesn't turn 18 until December.
