TOPIC #1 - KAREN READ TRIAL 2.0 KICKS OFF
The Karen Read Trial REMIX just began this week and it's already a circus. One of The Commonwealth's star witnesses got up on the stand, and with MONTHS to prepare herself and rehearse her story, instead flat out perjured herself. If this thing winds up in another mistrial they need to just throw the entire town in jail.
(The Body In The Snow doc on HBO is a TOUGH look for Karen Read. Not sure there's ever been a more unlikeable woman who is beyond a shadow of a doubt not guilty, but who you kind of find yourself not minding if the jury finds her guilty, in history.)
TOPIC #2 - UNC STAFF DOESN'T LIKE BELICHICK
Not sure what these hayseeds were expecting… There's not a more "you get what you see" guy in the world than BB. Also, suck it the fuck up. This is football. And you're men. You want to make an omelette? You gotta crack some eggs.
TOPIC #3 - LEBRON WITH AN ALL TIME BAD FLOP LAST NIGHT
This was one of the more pathetic displays of flopping Lebron has ever performed last night. And that's saying A LOT. Shameful to be honest.
TOPIC #4 - TOMMY SMOKES GOT TO PLAY SURVIVOR IN FIJI

A few things on this. First, I was and am genuinely happy Tommy got to do this. Life is weird in that we are all so bizarrely different in our tastes and what brings us happiness. Yet uniquely the same in that when we get to experience true happiness, we are able to remember it vividly for the rest of our lives.
For me, that was getting to enjoy witnessing 5 Super Bowl championships in person, and party my ass off with the team afterwards.
For Tommy, that was getting to visit an influencer event for his favorite reality tv show in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. To each their own, but again, good for Tommy. Survivor is his Tom Brady & Super Bowl rolled into one, and the fact he got to experience it first hand is fucking awesome. If you hate on other people enjoying what brings them happiness, not only is that schadenfreude, but that's some bad energy, and signs of some deep issues amigo.
All of that said, I would be lying if I didn't admit I smiled like Tim Curry in Home Alone 2 when Kevin's credit card comes up as stolen, when I read Tommy complain about barely being able to survive ONE SINGLE NIGHT in the wild.
BOLD confession coming from the same guy who clowned me up and down for having a bug-out-bag AKA A SURVIVAL KIT, and talking openly about needing to be prepared for disaster and being able to survive.
TOPIC #5 - THE NBA CONTINUING TO BLACKOUT PLAYOFF GAMES IN LOCAL MARKETS IS FUCKING AMATEUR HOUR
First the NBA subjects its fans in many markets (like Cleveland) to be forced to watch their team on the absolute dogshit Bally's app all season. And now they are just straight up blacking out games for them locally? For how good and in tune the NBA is with modern day multimedia technology, and branding via social media, how is it possible for them to be this out of touch when it comes to basic game viewership? Clean it the fuck up Silver.
