Rockstar Dropped A New GTA 6 Trailer This Morning So We Can Start Dreaming Of The Game Actually Coming Out

Alright Rockstar, I see you! First you hit us with the bad news that GTA 6 has been delayed until next year.

Then you follow it up with the good news of a fresh trailer along with a new poster showing the updated release date.

As a parent I know how tough it is to sugar coat shitty situations to anxious kids that want something now, and Rockstar has essentially millions of anxious kids waiting to see a new Grand Theft Auto before they die like Knicks fans waiting for a championship. Like I wrote last week, the game getting delayed absolutely sucks, but showing that there is an actual game that has been made helps ease some of those fears.

Granted, Rockstar showed us the more basic parts of GTA that includes stories and cutscenes. But we already got a taste of the debaucherous sides of GTA 6 in the initial trailer, so they wanted to flex just how good the game looks and feels, which is obviously a 10 even though it'll probably cost you 10 TB of space on whatever hard drive you buy in order to play it.

It looks like we are going to have a real deal Bonnie and Clyde story full of killing and fucking, so that's fun I suppose since usually you had to pay for one those experiences in the previous GTAs. Miami also looks so real, I'm half expecting to see Portnoy and Miss Peaches roaming the streets once I find the fancy side of town. So all in all, I'm gonna consider the last week a net positive for Rockstar, no matter how much it sucks that the game has been pushed back to 2026.

Now all I need is a trailer for GTA VI redone with the classic vibe of the Vice City trailer that was on our TVs every day for what felt like a year and was absolute cinema as the kids say.
