"Run It Straight" Is Officially The Sport of the Future
First it was lacrosse. Up next was pickleball. It's currently the fastest growing sport in America, but the game is still significantly more fun to play than it is to watch on television. If a sport is truly going to take off, it needs to have a shit ton of money thrown its way via broadcasting deals. It needs to be a sport which is tailor-made for television. Something where millions of folks around the globe can't wait to sit down and watch.
"Run It Straight" may just be that sport.
You just get two of the beefiest boys you can find, put a ball in one of their hands, make them run as fast and hard as they can at one another, and see who is still standing in the end.
There are no complex rules that a casual viewer wouldn't understand. There are no little intricacies of the game that wouldn't translate to a television audience. It seems like it would be pretty straight forward for gambling purposes. "Run It Straight" has everything you could ever want in a new sport. Speed and violence. And there's absolutely zero barrier for entry.
All you need is a patch of grass, a ball, and two dudes with the heart of a lion. Anybody in America can wake up tomorrow and play "Run It Straight". You don't need to go out to buy expensive equipment or waste thousands of dollars a year to rent a turf facility. You just get out there and play. Maybe you get completely steamrolled, or maybe one day you turn into the greatest "Run It Straight" player the world has ever seen.
