The Lowly Knicks Somehow Once Again Defeat The Big Bad World Champion Celtics To Take A 3-1 Lead As The Series Heads Back To Boston

I decided after listening to all the takes following Game 2 to finally steer into the skid and embrace all the people that say it's the Celtics losing these games instead of the Knicks winning these games. So fuck it, that was a heck of a loss by the Celtics after they fumbled yet another double digit lead in the second half.

Captain Clutch was finally able to put up one of the big boy Playoff Brunson games on the great Celtics franchise with a casual 39, 12, and 5 while Mikal Bridges once again transformed into Money Mikal when it mattered (bonus points to Bridges for doing this on NBA Lottery night since draft picks are all people want to talk about when he is mentioned). KAT and OG each putting up 20+ points was exactly how Leon Rose drew it up when he threw this team together and MSG was fucking rocking in the biggest game there in a goddamn quarter century while the Gambling Cave was about as hospitable.

This series is obviously far from over and the Knicks need to look to close out things in Boston on Wednesday. I don't know what the diagnosis is with Tatum and it sucks it looks like he was seriously hurt while putting up a signature MSG playoff game. But no player is solely responsible for the machine that is the World Champion Celtics and I'm sure Red is pulling strings with the Basketball Gods to make sure everything comes up green in Game 5. Whoever's healthy on that team will be coming out firing and the Knicks need to not only match their intensity but come out with more if they want to remain perfect on the road this postseason.
