I Left The House For 3 Minutes Tonight And Now The Redskins Are Trying To Trade Or Release RG3 But Dan Snyder Won't Let Them Hahahahhaahahaha

ESPN - High-ranking Washington Redskins front-office officials and coaches want to part ways with quarterback Robert Griffin III, but are meeting resistance from team ownership, according to team and league sources. The Redskins even have had trade conversations about Griffin with a handful of NFL teams, but have found no interest, and it remains unclear whether ownership would allow Washington to trade him, sources said. It is becoming increasingly apparent that Griffin has lost his starting quarterback job, and depending on the events and conversations in the coming days, possibly his roster spot. Outside of ownership, there has been a groundswell of support from a strong segment of football people within the organization to change quarterbacks, but there is a question about whether they have the authority to part ways with Griffin, sources said. Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan was hired this past offseason to rebuild the team, so he looms as a possible X factor in any big personnel decision that involves Griffin as teams trim their rosters from 90 to 53 players over the next week. McCloughan’s ability to produce a resolution that all sides can live with now looms large.

I love this fucking team! I love them! Scot McCloughan was brought in to be the fix-all. To rebuild this travesty of a franchise from the ground up. And as I said on day 1, NOTHING is changing as long as Dan Snyder is in charge. NOTHING. And here we are! What do ya know, football people who are paid top dollar to make football decisions aren’t allowed to do their jobs because assdick Dan Snyder won’t let them. It’s been this way for 20 years, and it’ll be this way until Dan Snyder does the right thing and dies.

I said it in a blog on Friday I believe RG3 can be a serviceable NFL quarterback, but it sure as shit won’t be in Washington DC. Things have been so absolutely ridiculous, with so many people, including Robert himself making every mistake possible, that it’s impossible for him to succeed here. The franchise under Dan Snyder’s reign of terror will never, and I mean neverrrrrrrrrrr be good. He refuses to change his ways. And here we are.

I texted someone in the know (hardooooooooo) about the Redskins today. (No, it wasn’t Britt, I feel I should add that because that’s what everyone is going to assume) and I was told Jay Gruden STILL doesn’t have final say on who starts at quarterback for his team. It’s a discussion between him and Snyder and Bruce Allen. Can you imagine? Being the head coach and not being able to pick your quarterback? How hasn’t he quit by now? It’s just completely insane.

It is hysterical. Yesterday I went to eat lunch and next thing I know Kirk Cousins is named starting QB. Today I leave to get dinner and now RG3 is about to be traded. It’s amazing. Literally cannot leave the laptop without the Redskins circus act doing something else.

We need to push Dan Snyder off a mountain for the love of everything that is holy in this world. Who will do it? Who will step up and do it?
