Breaking News: Dannyboy Cane Will Be Retiring From Twitter July 5th 2017

Wow.   Just an absolute haymaker from Dannyboy Cane on a casual Tuesday afternoon.  I never saw this coming.  I thought the big news of the day was going to be our app launch.  WRONG.  Dannyboy is retiring from Twitter effective July 5th 2017.   The day after our nations Independence Day.  That can’t be a coincidence.  Also I think DannyBoy Cane is the first person in the history of social media to announce their retirement months in advance. Most people get angry and just delete their accounts.   Not Dannyboy Cane.  He will have a full blown retirement tour joining the likes of Derek Jeter,  Mariano Rivera and David Ortiz.   And truthfully nobody has ever deserved it more.  He did it his way from start to finish.  He never let the critics get to him.  He’s not being chased off Twitter.  He’s walking away at the height of his powers on his terms. As one fan said it’s like Barry Sanders going out on top.   Truer words were never spoken. Thankfully all the Dannyboy Cane fanatics get one last chance to bask in his greatness before he disappears into the night forever.  Bittersweet indeed.  Somewhere in a dark alley Big Poppa Cane and Hulkacaniac weep.
