To celebrate the 50th anniversary for both clubs, the Flyers and Penguins are playing an alumni game tomorrow night, 7pm @ the Wells Fargo Center. Here’s the Flyers roster, full of legends upon legends upon legends.
Obviously it’ll be great to see guys like Reggie Leach and the Watsons back in action. Obviously seeing Desjardins wheeling around the blueline again will be great. Danny Briere. Simon Gagner. Boucher back in net. It’s gonna be a helluva night. But most importantly, we have 10-88-19 back together. LeClair, Lindros, Renberg. The Legion Of Doom, together again to fuck shit up together one last time. This is like getting the Beatles back together but just better because the Legion of Doom isn’t completely overrated.
Now I just need to check to make sure if I’m allowed to wear my Lindros jersey in the press box. The man is my adoptive father, after all.
