Troy University Frat Bros Tell A Group Of High Schoolers They Can't Play Basketball On Their Patio...Crew Of 50 High Schoolers Come Back In The Middle Of The Night And Kick Their Asses

TropNews – The Troy University Police Department is conducting an investigation to identify the high school students involved in assaults that occurred at the Delta Chi house.

The suspects are believed to a part of a crowd who came to the house between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., according to Detective James Taylor.

“The number that we got from some of the victims, they believe, (is) approximately 50 high school students,” Taylor said.

Reed Kelly, a junior risk management major from Chelsea and Delta Chi brother who was at the scene, said an altercation began when the high school students arrived and asked to play basketball at the fraternity’s back patio. When the brothers outside said no, the situation escalated into violence.

“The main thing is, I was trying to not start anything, and they were looking for a fight,” Kelly said. “We told them to leave calmly, and they just decided to rile it up.”

Several brothers suffered minor facial and bodily injuries. Some sported bruises on their faces, and others had their shirts ripped or covered in blood. One stumbled around while trying to cover what appeared to be a nosebleed.

A few brothers, Taylor said, also had to be taken to Troy Regional Medical Center for some cuts, but no one had to stay overnight for severe injuries.

Taylor is using yearbooks from Pike County high schools to help identify those who was there that night.

He also said that the assaults were isolated incidents, and Troy students should not be worried about any high school assailants.

First of all, if any of these big tough frat bros were scared or intimidated at any point, there’s no shame in that whatsoever. I want them to know that. I want them to know I understand how they were feeling. It doesn’t matter what your age is or what grade you’re in – high school kids are scary as fuck.  I relate.  New York City high school kids are some of the most intimidating motherfuckers on the planet. They hang out in groups of no less than 20, sitting around ledges outside of their schools, 16 year olds ripping cigarettes and shit. They travel in packs and don’t move to let you by on the sidewalk and stare you down if you come anywhere near their personal space. I’m a 30 year old man and I cross the street when I see a herd of these punks rolling up the avenue. Maybe they’re not as bad in Troy, Alabama but I’d imagine they’re pretty close. So all you Troy U. Delta Chis currently laid up in the hospital getting stitched up and having your wounds treated because you got stomped out by some pimple faced teenager don’t be ashamed. Just be smart and let them hoop next time.  It’s not worth it.
