We had a couple of huge tilts in Winnipeg last night with Jamie Benn dropping the mitts with Dustin Byfuglien, and then we finally got round 2 of RPS between Tyler Seguin and Mark Scheifele. Gotta love when all the star players come out and start throwing hands. Quick Sidenote: I still don’t count that one pre-game win for Seguin last year after he faked getting off the ice and then hopped back on once Scheifele went to the locker room. That’s chicken shit. So by my count, it’s 2-0 Scheifele.
Other topics today are how terrible officiating is actually good since it gave us a filthy Auston Matthews penalty shot goal, Matthew Tkachuk stealing Crosby’s candy, and the Coyotes might just want to off themselves.
