Looks Like I Need To Fight Whoever Runs The Sportsnet Twitter Account Now
Wow, guys. That. That right there. I mean… woah. This is PEAK comedy. I didn’t realize that Sportsnet was able to resurrect Mitch Hedberg and hire him to run their Twitter account.
Listen up, dickwads. I talk a lot of shit on the Flyers. I’ve been talking shit on them for weeks. What they’ve been doing over this 9-game skid has been pathetic. They’re mentally weak. They have the confidence of a 12-year-old dork with a face full of pimples trying to talk to a girl (or boy) for the first time in his life. They find new ways to lose every night. They have been pathetic all the way from the coach to the GM to the goalies to the defense to forward depth to the guys who fill up the water bottles. With all of that being said, ONLY WE get to make fun of the Flyers right now. Flyers fans have earned every right to talk shit on this team currently. We’ve stood by through the good times and the bad and we’ve earned the right to talk about how pathetic they’ve been in the month of November. But the knobs over at Sportsnet? Just who in the friggin’ heck do you bozos think you are? Coming in here with a cheapshot that isn’t even clever. It’s like having a little brother. Yeah, I can make fun of him and kick his ass. But if anybody else tries to do it then we have a problem on our hands.
So to whoever is responsible for this tweet going out… reveal yourself, you coward. Because I will find you, I will drop the gloves and I will jersey you into oblivion. Unless you’re taller than 5’10” and you weigh more than 180 lbs. In that case, you’re out of my weight class and I’ll just continue to talk shit on you. But if we are of similar stature then, buddy, you better believe I’m coming for that ass.
P.S. – Last time the Flyers lost 9-games in a row they ended up going to the conference final. So yeah, still plenty of time to turn the season around. It doesn’t look good and I still stand by the fact that Hakstol hasn’t proved shit and needs to go. But there’s still an inch of hope. Maybe half an inch.
